Hi, I’m Nicole Van Hyfte—former Director of the Chamber of Commerce at Vermilion Advantage and the founder of The Van Hyfte Grant Lab. I’ve spent my career championing the growth and resilience of our local communities, with a deep commitment to helping small businesses, nonprofits, and civic organizations access the funding they need to succeed.
My passion for community development is rooted in a lifelong connection to this region and a belief that great things happen when people have the tools and support they need. Through The Van Hyfte Grant Lab, I continue to advocate for local voices, identify strategic funding opportunities, and build partnerships that make a lasting difference.
In 2024, I secured over $1 million in grant funding for area organizations, driving real impact in the lives of business owners, families, and neighborhoods. But to me, it’s not just about the dollars—it’s about what those dollars do. They help a new business open its doors. They keep essential services running. They bring projects to life that make our region a better place to live, work, and grow.
